The story behind Parallax Academics

I grew up fascinated by Physics and Maths. Not just the equations, but the way understanding them changes how you see the world. That curiosity never left me and it is the perspective shift I want every student to experience.
I started Parallax Academics because I kept seeing the same thing in schools. Bright students falling behind in Maths and Sciences, not because they were not capable, but because they did not have the right support at the right time.
I have taught in some of the highest performing schools in the country and internationally, including the highest performing sixth form college in the UK where all of my students achieved at least an A in A-level Physics. That experience taught me exactly what examiners are looking for, how to make difficult concepts genuinely stick and how to spot the moment a student goes from confused to confident.
Over the years I have helped students gain places at some of the top universities in the country and abroad, including Oxbridge, as well as win prestigious competitions. Those moments are what teaching is really about.
At Parallax Academics, every session is built around your child. Small groups, expert teaching and content tailored to their exact exam board. Not a one size fits all service, but a serious commitment to getting your child the grade they are capable of.
Outside the classroom, you will find me singing rather too enthusiastically or planning my next mountain to conquer. I believe the best learning, like the best adventures, happens when curiosity leads the way.
